Presenter: Respectable Mr. Oktar, I recently read that Muslims had protested against the name of our Lord Allah being used by non-Muslims and that three churches had been set on fire. Muslims thought that Christians were working as missionaries. Is that attitude a correct one? Dogan Yazici asks from Izmit.
Adnan Oktar: Our brother Dogan asks a good question. Of course there is nothing wrong in such a thing. Why should there be? Are we not striving to get them to say Allah? That would be a most devilish error. Someone may perform the prayer, a Christian, and are we then expected to burn down another four churches because he performed the prayer? Someone is fasting. So burn another 10 churches. Isn’t that right? A Christian doesn’t drink wine. So burn down another 90. This is all irrational. Very, very wrong. This is provocation by satan. It is a great blessing they speak the name of Allah. In the Qur’an Almighty Allah tells us to “come to common terms”. He tells the Christian world to come to “belief in Allah, belief in the Oneness of Allah”. This is a purification. It is therefore a good thing. All Christians will be Muslims in the time of Jesus (pbuh). We must embrace them with love and affection, and watch over and protect them as entrusted to us by Allah. They are being oppressed everywhere. They have been oppressed for the last 100 years. The people who burned those churches are generally irreligious. As if people who burn churches go to the mosques day and night! These are Darwinist, materialist types who have studied here and there, in Britain and Europe, with communist, terrorist and anarchist mindsets. How can anyone burn down a church? The Qur’an issues a pronouncement about churches. Churches and synagogues must be specially protected. This is not something acceptable. It is devilish, a terrible mistake. Very wrong. Jews must also be protected and watched over. Synagogues, churches and mosques occupy a special place in the Qur’an, places of worship whose holy nature is set out, and one must be punctilious about them. I imagine our brothers have realized that. They must be very careful on that subject, insha’Allah.
