OKTAR BABUNA: After a short break, here we are back together again. We have a guest, our brother Mohammad Thompson from New Zealand. He is here as our guest from Voice of Islam.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. He converted to Islam from Christianity, didn’t he?
OKTAR BABUNA: Yes, in 1981.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. May Allah bless him. Masha’Allah. Welcome.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: Thank you very much. Very nice to be in your lovely country here.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. Please translate.
OKTAR BABUNA: Okay. We can start insha’Allah.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: Insha’Allah. Thank you very much for having me here. Couple of things... It has always been a great privilege to come here and meet you, after many years of playing your DVDs and documentaries in our TV program, which has helped our program very much to spread the message of Islam throughout New Zealand and the world.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. Alhamdulillah.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: So every week we utilize documentaries of Harun Yahya, the fact of Creation, always different ones talking about the Qur’an, sciences in the Qur’an. It helps the program very much. Great work you are doing here. One thing I’d really like to ask and it is referring to the Atlas of Creation. Because after seeing this book and reading some of the reviews, things like that on it, I’d just like to know what prompted you to produce and write and put together such a massive book?
ADNAN OKTAR: I was rather concerned about the way Darwinists had things all to themselves. It would of course annoy and upset any rational person the way they spread such a lie across the world, that many states embraced it and organized it, founded universities and institutions on the subject and spent a fortune telling people this lie. I prepared a book that would completely expose this lie, and they have duly been routed, and I do not think they will ever be able to tell such lies again. They will be too weak to tell lies concerning Darwinism until Day of Reckoning. Their arms and legs have been intellectually broken using knowledge, culture and science.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: The other thing is that, with that, that is what I think is the reason for doing it. The other is, the way it has been distributed and what impact has it had on those who have read it?
ADNAN OKTAR: The American government, the Russian government, the British government, the French, German, Dutch, Belgian and Norwegian governments have all received copies of the Atlas. The Chiefs of Staff received it. As well as the leading members of the American military, the CIA, and the FBI. We sent copies to just about all senior members of the FBI, or rather the publishing company did. And we have immediately received the repercussions of its impact from all over the world. We have seen its impact on Sarkozy, Tony Blair and other leading Americans, and they have all been highly influenced by it. Darwinism has had all the sheen rubbed off it. It has now become a matter of shame to tell such lies. Someone like Dawkins, for instance, has now begun saying that creatures from outer space created everything. What does that mean? They have run up the white flag, as the saying goes. They have become figures of fun with the idea of space creatures they have been forced to adopt because of their untenable position. And what does that mean? It means they will eventually come to believe in Allah. It is not important that they fail to make good a promise, they will eventually admit this, insha’Allah.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: Insha’Allah. Because that’s what I heard. I heard that the actual mindset of the people especially in Europe, is changing so much that even the schools are starting to talk about Creation as opposed to the theory of evolution and Darwin’s theory. Cause it seems to me that the theory of evolution they took as fact and started to teach it in schools and thing like that. But now, Alhamdulillah Bismillah Masha’Allah, the great work you have done on this, it is changing the people. And they are starting to get back to believing in God. Insha’Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. They should anyway be discussing about Darwinism. The Qur’an discusses Pharaoh, Nimrod, after all. Muslims need to know about the abnormal people and philosophies of the past. We have a duty to learn about Darwinism, communism, fascism, ancient Greek faiths, beliefs in ancient Rome, Sumerian and Egypt. Darwinism is also just an ancient belief. That is to say, it is a perverted pagan religion and we need to also learn it. They should teach and discuss it in full detail, comprehensively. Let them set up museums of Darwinism. They could even put Darwin’s own mummified body in it if they like. They can put the lying works and books that so deceived people, the primitive microscopes of the time, those books of lies written by Darwin, or by Marx and Engels and the rest all at the time, in a museum together. Young people should learn about them. They can be described comprehensively. Because the Qur’an also describes peculiar beliefs so that people would learn about the truth.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: Exactly. And I think also what people need to know from my understanding, is the Darwinist theory has also to do with racism and trying to downgrade certain races. That is why they have these different areas of what they are working on so making out the super human, white man, what I think the German tried to do with the Aryan race. And I think the Darwinist theory to my understanding have some ideas about this type of thing, racism.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. Darwin regards also the Turkish nation as a primitive species of monkeys, may Allah forbid, and believes that the Turkish nation should be eliminated. He says the same about negroes and native Australians, aboriginals. Racist thinking thus spread with the emergence of Darwinism, and both communist and fascist ways of thinking are also products of Darwin. Darwinism led to the deaths of 350 million people, to the devastation of thousands of towns, to millions being crippled and to children being orphaned. It led to selfishness, egoism and to love being removed from people’s hearts. Darwinism is the most terrible movement of the anti-Christ of the End Times.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: That’s why I think, this book again, I keep talking about, Alhamdulillah, is a great work. It is also one area that we need to as Muslims push towards the Muslims as well. Because I believe there are many Muslims believing in evolution. I was reading an article which was -I think- referring to one article you wrote or a talk you gave and it started talking about many Muslim countries are now starting to believe in Creation, which made me think that why were not they believing in that before. Before it seemed that a lot of Muslims were believing in evolution and things like that, certain aspects of evolution.
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah. Of course. Darwinists were in charge in Egypt, Syria, Libya, Iraq and many other places in the world. And they made the Islamic world follow a leftist, materialist and Darwinist line. Thousands of scholars were used to disseminate it. But they have now been routed. Creation has now become the prevailing belief all around the world, thanks be to Allah.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: I understand also especially in Indonesia, I think they are using your books as part of the curriculum for education in schools now. Alhamdulillah it helps them to reinforce the Creation, the understanding of Creation and Islam. And that sort of thing started, now they are coming more and more back to that and it means they will become better humans, better Muslims and practice their religion more properly. Insha’Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Alhamdulillah masha’Allah. Only my books are freely available in Russia, other works are banned. The same in Iran. Only my works are freely allowed, Masha’Allah. It is the same in Azerbaijan, only my books are freely on sale, apart from a few exceptions. Mine are the most popular works in the world. This year alone 90 million copies have been downloaded. The number of the downloaded books were 80 million but now it has reached 90 million. We are nearly in January, but the figure has gone past 90 million. This is a huge figure, masha’Allah. Also the same amount of them are sold across the world. Then there are those publishers who receive permission to publish them themselves. I take no royalties, and they just print them in enormous amounts masha’Allah.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: So with that in mind, with talking about the Muslims still having some belief of the Darwinist theory, apart from your books, how can we overcome the situation? By spreading more books like this, books like your other ones, your DVDs, documentaries, is this a good way of spreading it out? I know by, bismillah masha’Allah, your TV programs, your books and things like that, you are doing a great effort in combating that and overcoming that. And may Allah reward you greatly, all your efforts and your team for doing all these work.
ADNAN OKTAR: Darwinism is like a dead leaf that has fallen from a tree to the earth. There is no need for us to even touch it with the claw of a lion, even a light wind is enough to blow Darwinism off. Darwinism is a primitive, an utterly unscientific pagan belief. It is so primitive that it fails to see that even a single protein can never be formed by coincidences. It is unaware of the presence of 350 million fossils that prove Creation. These are people, that are so ordinary and childish that they have no qualms about lying and saying that intermediate fossils exist, even though they know that no transitional fossils that might confirm Darwinism have ever been found. Therefore, to see that Darwinism has come to the end of the road in the world is very delightful and I enjoy it greatly.
MOHAMMAD THOMPSON: Alhamdulillah.
